After leaving the DA’s office and before being appointed to the bench, Judge Stansberry went into private practice as a Supervising Attorney for the Law Offices of Peter G. Angelos for about a year. His extensive courtroom knowledge has proven to be invaluable as a Judge in Knox County, Tennessee.
Judge Tony Stansberry was born and raised in Knox County and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Political Science and from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
